Editorial policy

reStruggle AI aims to make AI easier to understand without making the evidence sound stronger than it is. Piotr Ciechowicz is responsible for editorial decisions and publication.

Follow the evidence

Articles link to the material behind their central claims. Original announcements, documentation, papers and first-hand reporting are preferred where available. A link is a source to examine, not an endorsement.

Company announcements and benchmark results are attributed to their authors. When a claim has not been independently verified, we say so. Dates, versions, availability and important limitations belong with the claim they qualify.

Separate reporting, testing and opinion

News reports what is known. Guides explain a process. Opinion presents an argument or interpretation. Claims of hands-on testing require a real test and a description of the conditions; AI-generated text cannot stand in for that experience.

Comparisons explain their criteria and limitations. Missing information stays an open question instead of becoming an invented answer.

Use AI with human responsibility

AI assists with source discovery, research organisation and drafting. Its output can contain errors. A human editor reviews the sources, wording and conclusions before publishing. AI does not make the final publication decision.

Material AI-generated images or other synthetic media are labelled. They are not presented as documentary evidence of an event.

Respect other people's work

We write our own explanations, credit the original work and keep quotations proportionate to the point they support. Linking to a source does not grant permission to reproduce its text or images.

Correct the record

Send corrections to [email protected] with the article URL and supporting evidence. Material factual corrections are noted in the article. Substantial updates explain what changed; ordinary spelling and formatting fixes may be made without a separate note.
